Sajjad Baghaee (Alper Alioğlu) is at the Communication Network Group of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey. He earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from METU in 2023 and 2012, respectively. Additionally, he holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications from the Islamic Azad University of Urmia (IAURMIA), which he obtained in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, he was a project manager at Parto Afshan Aria Co, Urmia, Iran. He worked as an educator for the Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO) of West Azerbaijan, Iran from 2008 to 2009. He has been a research assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at METU since 2010. Currently, he is a Senior Internet of Things (IoT) Engineer at JEO INTERNET TEKNOLOJILERI BILGISAYAR BILIŞIM MÜHENDISLIK LTD.ŞTI, Ankara, Turkey, and before that, he worked as a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Engineer in TEKNOLOJİK SİSTEMLER SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ , Ankara, Turkey. Mr. Baghaee has participated in numerous research projects as a researcher funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and serves as a reviewer for various IEEE journals/conferences.
